The zodiac series was created over a period of three years and was exhibited in the old corridor ‘Les pietons’ of the hypodrome in Ostend in July 2010.  

Cesare Ripa's book "Iconologia" published in 1593,  runs through the series as a continuous thread. This is an iconic handbook for medieval painters to visualize abstract concepts e.g. loyalty, friendship, helpfulness,...
